Inspired by S. Minwel Tibbott's "Knitting Stockings in Wales: A Domestic Craft," the Welsh Socks with a Quirk include the traditional Welsh design that uses a natural white color for the toe due to the lanolin the the yarn fibers that provide additional warmth to the wearer.
Finished Size: 7½ (8½) inches (19.0 [21.6] cm) foot circumference
Yarn: Cascade 220 100% wool yarn, fingering weight, 273 yards (249.6 m)/50 gram (1.8 oz) skein, 2 skeins of #9332 Sapphire (MC) and 1 skein #8010 Natural (CC)
