I have a favorite ceramic ornament depicting a young lady with a very elegant Regency gown and a parasol. The shape of the sleeves on the gown was the inspiration for this perfect accessory to a strapless evening dress or a shoestring summer top.

Finished Size: 29 (32, 35, 38, 40½, 43½, 46½)" bust circumference. Shown in size 32" on little girl and size 38" on mom.
Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa Zarina (100% superwash Merino, 180 yd [165 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #1401 white 2, (2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4) balls. Distributed by Takhi-Stacy Charles Inc.
Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm). Size 2 (3.0 mm) 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; waste yarn; tapestry needle, row counter, size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook. If desired, a narrow ¼" ribbon can be threaded through the eyelet lace border and a small bow placed on each front slant.
Gauge: 22 sts and 33 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles.
