Most crocheters would instantly recognize the crocheted Irish Rose, yet it has many variations. The features that are often varied include the choice of an open or solid center, the number of rounds of petals, the size and shape of the petals, and how densely the petals are stacked. The rose used for this project has a solid center and densely stacked petals.
