Finished Size: About 6 1/2" hand circumference and 81/2" long from CO edge to tip of fingers. To fit a child (see Notes).
Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Nature Spun Fingering (100% wool;310 yd [283 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #N91 Aran (MC), 1 skein; #146 pomegranate (CC), 1 skein.
Needles: Size 00 (1.75 mm): set of 4 or 5 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle; waste yarn.
Gauge:55 sts and 55 rnds = 4" in St st colorwork patts from charts.
