Fashionable ladies of the Regency period wore intricately draped sheer gowns with low necklines and used diaphanous scarves to cover their shoulders. These lightweight scarves served as an inspiration for this design. Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm Findley (50%Merino wool, 50% silk; 798 yd [730 m]/31/2oz [100 g]): #14 dove, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever International.
Needles: Shawl—Size 6 (4 mm): 32" circular (cir). Bind-off—Size 7 (4.5 mm): 32" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 19 sts and 29 rows = 4" in St st on smaller needles after blocking.
