Tilney Socks Knitting Pattern Download
These elegant socks for a gentleman are inspired by the kind and sensible hero of Northanger Abbey, Henry Tilney. They are cuff-down men’s socks with an interesting but sensible ribbing pattern on the front of the sock and a twisted traveling stitch diamond pattern down the center of the back of the leg—reminiscent of a stocking seam. The rib pattern continues on to the toe and the heel flap.
