Pleated Neckscarf Knitting Pattern Download
This sweet little accessory is reminiscent of the ruffled collars commonly worn in the Regency era. The light and airy pleats offer an ethereal feminine quality that is so fitting for a Jane Austen–inspired wardrobe. The crocheted flower button closure adds the final feminine touch.
This piece knits up quickly on a size 9 needle and offers the knitter a chance to practice picking up stitches to create the pleats. Two colors of yarn add interest and the illusion of depth while making it easier to create the pleated fabric because the stitches are picked up right at the color change line.
