Columbia Mittens Knitting Pattern Download
These mittens by Star Athena are simple enough, with one cabled motif on each mitt. When the hands are pressed together palm-up, the image is complete.
Finished Size: 7½ (8½)" (19 [21.5] cm) circumference, to fit a woman's (man's) medium. Mittens shown measure 7½" (19 cm).
Yarn: Worsted-weight (Medium #4) wool 2-ply yarn, about 150 (180) yd (137  m). Shown here: Imperial Yarn Columbia (100% wool; 220 yd [201 m]/113 g): quail, less than 1 skein.
Yarn Weight: #4 - Medium
Needles: U.S. size 6 (4 mm) (see Notes). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); waste yarn to be used as a stitch holder; tapestry needle.
