This baby blanket uses a waffle weave called Brighton honeycomb, in which the three-dimensional depressions don't line up like a waffle but are offset from each other, more like the cells in a real honeycomb.

8/2 cotton, Old Gold, Light Turquoise, 1,291 yd. each. (Available as a kit from Cotton Clouds.)
