This project is a reproduction of the man's gloves in the collection of the Nordsjællandsk Folkemuseum in Hillerød, Denmark. Personalize your gloves with the appropriate initials and the year you made the gloves. Design your own letters and numbers using graph paper!

Yarn: Jamieson & Smith Shetland Jumper Weight, 100% wool, fingering weight, 129 yards (118 m)/25 g skein, 4 skeins of #1A Natural
Yarn Weight:
Needles: Needles, set of 5 double pointed, size 00 (1.75 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, Short lengths of waste yarn to hold gusset and finger stitches, Tapestry needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 2 inches (5.1 cm) in St st worked in rnds (Note: This gauge is deliberately tighter than customary for fingering-weight yarn to produce a dense fabric.)
